Invoice
discounting (in North America also called "Spot Factoring")
is an internationally accepted financial service that dates back
to the mid 1600's. It is a relatively simple process involving the
sale of an account receivable that is represented by an unpaid invoice.
Invoice discounting should not be confused with "Full Line"
factoring, a comprehensive financial program involving total administration
of the accounts receivable as well as financing.
Cash must be readily available before companies can grow. When businesses
do not have sufficient cash on hand, entrepreneurs must use alternate
sources, such as bank loans and personal savings to secure additional
working capital. Under appropriate circumstances, invoice discounting
can also be an alternate source of funds.

growth.
